Supporting the organisers at the Broadoak Hotel venue, a team of 11 cadets and staff registered the competition entrants and submitted musical pieces to the judging team. At the same time a team of smartly turned out cadets marched the bands into the judging area in front of a crowd of 300.
Congratulations went to Foden's Band from Cheshire, who were awarded 1st place for the venue and second place in the overall Tameside area.
